I am an Indian-American graphic designer with two decades of experience building visual stories for global brands. I love to tackle difficult questions and enjoy working with teams to find solutions. A fast learner, I’m just as comfortable building and working with complex design systems as I am delivering on I-needed-this-yesterday projects.
Born and raised in New Delhi, I studied Communication Design at India’s premier design school — the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad. From co-founding Kolkata’s first female-led graphic design studio, to creating on-air graphics that reached millions of viewers for MTV Bombay, to working with India’s most successful brands as part of Brand Union’s Bangalore team, to currently operating as the sole designer at a fast-paced, remote, fintech startup environment — I’ve designed in many rooms across many cities. Twenty years in, I still approach every project like I have something to learn.
Outside of work, you are most likely to find me enjoying a live show at one of DC’s numerous concert venues, reading a book on my patio, playing board games with my family, experimenting with fusion cooking, or crafting something on my sewing machine or knitting needles.
